We offer a whole-child approach, comprehensive, research-based curriculum that promotes exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop not only math and literacy skills but also their social-emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Creative Curriculum supports active learning to inspire every child to become a creative, confident thinker.
The Creative Curriculum has four main categories of interest:
- The social/emotional stage. Children will learn how to be independent, confident, and have self-control. They will learn how to make friends, have group interactions, and follow the rules.
- The physical stage. Within this stage, children will learn motor skills.
- The cognitive stage. This stage is associated with thinking skills where children can learn how to solve problems, ask questions, and think critically.
- The language stage. Children will learn how to communicate with others, listen and participate in conversations, and recognize various forms of print.
The Creative Curriculum allows teachers to create daily routines and meaningful experiences based on the child’s strengths, interests, and needs.
At 2 New Heights, every child is given opportunities to grow, explore, develop, and discover. If you have questions about our programs and curriculum, please feel free to contact us.
