2 New Heights Child Development Center is committed to providing full and part-time childcare and educational programs for children 6 weeks to 12 years old, providing families around Washington, DC, a cheerful and secure environment for learning and development.
We welcome you and your child to an environment where they can grow to their fullest potential. We offer students a well-rounded and developmentally appropriate academic programs with extracurricular opportunities that help develop a lifetime love of learning and build a strong foundation for social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
The center is owned and directed by Dr. Ernesta Gibbs Battle. Dr. Battle is a committed educator with numerous years of experience. She also has an extensive background in Curriculum and Instruction, Research, and Administration. We are also proud to have earned NAEYC Accreditation, the mark of quality for early childhood education programs.
We believe that your child’s early years of formative learning are crucial, so we will strive to continue providing opportunities to make a positive difference in their lives. We are honored to provide child development professionals who are focused on creating experiences and opportunities that support the rapid and essential development of your child. We will also work to strengthen parent/staff relationships and be the extended family you can rely on for your child’s development.
